Nancy Gambescia, Ph.D., CST è l'ex direttrice del programma di dottorato in terapia sessuale presso il Council for Relationships, Philadelphia, PA. È prof.ssa associata clinica di Psichiatria presso la Perelman School of Medicine dell'Università della Pennsylvania. La dottoressa Gambescia possiede oltre 40 anni di esperienza nell'insegnamento, nella supervisione e nel lavoro con individui e coppie. È inoltre Fellow Clinico e Supervisore per l'American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT); Membro Clinico, Terapeuta Sessuale, e Supervisore di Terapia Sessuale per l’American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapists (AASECT); e membro della Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR). La dottoressa Gambescia è una sostenitrice dell'approccio intersistemico, che è il modello teorico su cui si focalizza il suo insegnamento, il suo lavoro clinico ed i suoi scritti. La dottoressa Gambescia è coautrice di 8 libri e di numerosi articoli su questioni relazionali e sessuali. Con i suoi coautori vince il premio libro del 2016, ed il premio “integration” dell'AASECT. Ha condotto workshop e presentato a numerose conferenze negli Stati Uniti e in Europa sulla terapia di coppia e sessuale.

Nancy Gambescia, Ph.D., CST is the former Director of the Postgraduate Program in Sex Therapy at Council for Relationships, Philadelphia, PA. She is a clinical associate in Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Gambescia has over 40 years of experience in teaching, supervising and working with individuals and couples. Dr. Gambescia is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a Clinical Member, Certified Sex Therapist, and Approved Supervisor of Sex Therapy in the American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapist (AASECT). Also, she is a member of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR). Dr. Gambescia is a proponent of the Intersystem Approach, which is the organizing theoretical model for her writing, teaching and clinical work. Dr Gambescia has coauthored 8 books and numerous journal articles and textbook chapters, which focus on relationship and sexual issues, winning the 2016 book award and integration award from AASECT with her co-authors. She has presented a number invited lectures and workshops in the United States and Europe on couple and sex therapy.
