Margaret Blaustein è una psicologa clinica praticante la cui carriera si è concentrata sulla comprensione e il trattamento di trauma infantile complesso e le sue conseguenze.  E' fondatrice e direttrice del Center for Trauma Training in Massachusetts. Ponendo l'accento sull'importanza di comprendere il contesto del bambino, della famiglia e del sistema, il suo studio si è concentrato sull'identificazione e la traduzione dei principi chiave di intervento in tutti i contesti di trattamento, partendo dalle teorie fondamentali dello sviluppo infantile, dell'attaccamento e dello stress traumatico. Con Kristine Kinniburgh, Margaret Blaustein è co-autrice del modello di trattamento Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) (Kinniburgh & Blaustein, 2005), e co-autrice del testo Treating Complex Trauma in Children and Adolescents: Fostering Resilience through Attachment, Autoregolamentazione e competenza (Blaustein & Kinniburgh, 2010). La Dottoressa Blaustein è attualmente direttore del Centro per la Formazione sul Trauma a Needham, MA.

Margaret Blaustein is a practicing clinical psychologist whose career has focused on the understanding and treatment of complex childhood trauma and its sequelae. She is the founder and director of the Center for Trauma Training in Massachusetts. With an emphasis on the importance of understanding the child-, the family-, and the provider-in-context, her study has focused on identification and translation of key principles of intervention across treatment settings, building from the foundational theories of childhood development, attachment, and traumatic stress.  With Kristine Kinniburgh, Dr. Blaustein is co-developer of the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) treatment framework (Kinniburgh & Blaustein, 2005), and co-author of the text, Treating Complex Trauma in Children and Adolescents: Fostering Resilience through Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competence (Blaustein & Kinniburgh, 2010).  Dr. Blaustein is currently Director of the Center for Trauma Training in Needham, MA.
