Noreen è una psicologa del lavoro, di consulenza, salute e coaching.  Ha fondato la sua società nel 1997 per aiutare le organizzazioni ad affrontare una vasta gamma di problemi psicologici tra cui l'assenza per malattia a lungo termine, lo stress, il bullismo e il trauma. Noreen ha un interesse speciale per i traumi psicologici e ha pubblicato molti documenti, articoli e libri sui programmi di cura dei traumi, la consulenza sui traumi e altri interventi. Noreen ha lavorato con le vittime di molti incidenti importanti tra cui gli attacchi terroristici di Westminster e della Manchester Arena, così come il Grenfell Fire e i grandi disastri dei trasporti. Ha anche supportato le vittime di una vasta gamma di altre esposizioni traumatiche, tra cui il trauma primario legato a omicidi, stupri e incidenti mortali, così come il trauma secondario dovuto al lavoro con gli abusi sui minori, la violenza domestica e l'intelligence della polizia. Mette a disposizione la sua esperienza a sostegno del College of Policing, dove è coinvolta nella formazione e nel sostegno di un programma di sorveglianza e supporto del trauma. Noreen ha presieduto il Crisis Disaster and Trauma della British Psychological Society ed è attualmente membro del Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Standing Committee della European Federation of Psychological Societies e membro del BPS Committee della Division of Occupational Psychology. Noreen si è unita all'ESTSS nel 1991 e ha presentato il suo primo articolo alla conferenza tenutasi a Bergen quell'anno; da allora ha presentato articoli o workshop a quasi tutte le conferenze ESTSS. 

Noreen is a chartered occupational, counselling, health and coaching psychologist.  She formed her own company in 1997 to assist organisations deal with a wide range of psychological problems including long term sickness absence, stress, bullying and trauma.   Noreen has a special interest in psychological trauma and has published many papers, articles and books on trauma care programmes, trauma counselling and other interventions. Noreen has worked with victims of many major incidents including the Westminster and Manchester Arena terrorist attacks as well as the Grenfell Fire and major transport disasters. She has also supported victims of a wide range of other traumatic exposures including primary trauma related to murders, rapes and fatal accidents as well as secondary trauma due to working with child abuse, domestic violence and police intelligence.  She provides her expertise to support the College of Policing where she is involved in delivering training and supporting a programme of trauma surveillance and support. Noreen chaired a British Psychological Society’s Crisis Disaster and Trauma and is currently a member of the Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Standing Committee of the European Federation of Psychological Societies and  member of the BPS Committee of the Division of Occupational Psychology. Noreen joined ESTSS in 1991 and presented her first paper at the conference held in Bergen that year, since then she has presented papers or delivered workshops at almost all the ESTSS conferences.
